auntie to the rescue

i still can't find my camera cord, but luckily auntie janna has been snapping new pictures and has her camera cord. so, we now have some treats for you...but first i must say some things about carmen.

i can not get over how wonderful carmen is. and i'm not just saying this because she's my daughter. everyday she makes me laugh. she amazes me constantly. she has recently started to pretend and it's just so freaking amazing to see her. she pretends to read. she pretends with her doll. she makes funny voices. it is so cute and i just love seeing her grow and develop into this amazing little person. the following just begins to scratch the surface of how awesome she is.

and now....we have pictures of carmen with grandma carlie, carmen bein' sassy, carmen semi-enjoying the beach and carmen walking! yes, that's right. carmen is walking!!!!!! yay, carmen.



and, since i'm in the blogging mood, we also took some video of carmen walking and playing and saying very cute things, including a birthday wish for grandpa jerry.
(note that while i was making this video clip carmen was enthralled with seeing herself on the computer. she was stunned and mesmerized and stared at herself. it was very funny to watch.)
