Carmen is seriously the cutest girl ever.

I'm sure it may be of no surprise to you, but Carmen has been doing some very cute things lately.

She has gotten very interested in watching "TB" (as she calls it) and we've started introducing her to some movies. From the moment we popped "Annie" in, Carmen has been in love. And everyday she askes for, "Annie, Annie, Annie" til we push play on the DVD. Then she proceeds to twirl around and dance and try to sing and say, "oh my goodness, oh my goodness." Seriously, it's the cutest thing ever.

Carmen has also started calling me "Jera".
We keep correcting her...but she keeps calling me by my name.

She is developing some new awesome dance moves. We've been trying to get some video, so hopefully, I'll have some posted soon.

She makes up songs and sings them.

Carmen's babysitter called in sick yesterday, so I had the luxury of spending all day with Carmen. We watched Carmen's new favorite movie, Annie, like 2 times and then I took her out in the backyard and had a little photoshoot. She just looked too cute I couldn't resist.

Elle & Emme

Hello there friends and family. Today Shay and I launched a website for Elle & Emme. It's a new children's perfume. It's an amazing product and we've had a lot of fun working on this project. I've also worked on the logo, packaging and other marketing materials for them.

i just finished some ads at work that i'm pretty proud of so, i decided that i might as well post them. they are for energizer for a new battery they have, energizer advanced lithium. check em out, but not if you hate awesome ads:

little biker girl

we went to phoenix this past weekend and our friends have quite the bike collection. they recently acquired a little radio flyer tricycle. carmen was pretty excited about it and so we plopped her on it and doesn't she look perfect?

so perfect we decided to try her out on their unicycle:


i think she may have thought we were a little silly. but she's cute nonetheless.

sickness is yucky

well, we've been sick over the last two weeks. first i was. and then i passed it on to poor little carmen. this is the sickest i've ever seen her. it was sad and not fun and i hate sickness! bad sickness. now we're better.

disneyland!

well, we made our second trip to disneyland. a friend of janna's had come into town and wanted to go, so we figured, why not. i thought carmen would be more interested and excited about it. but, the only thing she got excited about was this:

that's right. a little mini door. she got super excited and wanted to get out of her stroller to check it out. that was pretty much the highlight of her trip. stay tuned. i think we'll make one more trip to disneyland before the end of the year.

shoes

grammy got carmen some fabulous new shoes, so we decided to try them all on and take some pictures of them. needless to say, carmen loves, loves, loves shoes and is constantly bringing different ones out of her bedroom asking me to put them on her.




The following picture was taken last week. Her babysitter had painted her toenails for the first time so we took some pictures to document. It's a little hard to tell as they are painted a real light pink.
